The area below the deck is very cramped and small.  The a faint scent of
mildew fills the air, telling you that this area isn't very well kempt. 
Towards the north, you can get a vague scent of what you hope is food.  Down
here you can't really feel the swaying of the ship making the voyage easier
to handle, but you start to get a feel of claustrophobia.  All around,
benches are placed against the walls for something to sit upon while you
wait out your voyage down here.  
     An upturned barrel supports a rickety chess board.
A sexy female janitor winks at you and nods to an empty stall.
