Several nomadic camps and huts have been set up around the base of the
stairs on this level, making it seem like the inhabitants are waiting for
someone to enter.  The remains of several creatures, not all human, are
strewn around here .  These appear to be the camping grounds of the gith, a
nomadic cross between an elf and a reptile with greyish skin.  Several gith
wait around, looking downwards towards a dimly lit room, and haven't noticed
