From this section of the plateau, on a clear day, one can clearly see the
ogre village and lake Whompfish.  It is eerie to see the tentacles reach out
of the water to grab at wild life but even more eerie is to see tentacles
stretching on to nearly opposite sides of the lake.  The plateau itself is
seeing little vegetation but the ground is growing fertile from the decay of
the lava rocks.
