You are walking along a path made of interlocking sandstone, worn and
patched in several places.  The stones crumble slightly under your feet as
blocks making up the northern wall of the retreat rise directly before you,
while the walkway continues to the west.  To the east lies the front
portico, and an iron fence blocks your passage south.
