This looks to be the end of the older part of the towne, the path curls
off west towards a mine whilst the road before you leads you further down
into the more commercial area of Takhtin.  The sullen, gloomy atmosphere of
the towne hangs in the air still, despite cries of merriment and the sound
of guffaws coming from directly ahead of you.  
     The corpse of a fat squirrel monkey is lying here.
A tiny lizard slinks across the floor.
A skinny animal with large, cumbersome antlers staggers around.
