A small staircase rises upward to the second floor.  The entrance to this
bar lies directly to the east, while a mob of salty dogs eat and drink
heartily to the south.  A square of light comes through the bar doors to the
east, lighting only this corner of the tavern.  Smoke from pipes and
cigarettes rises up through the staircase, taking the only way out of the
cramped bar room.  
A recruiter intimidates visitors to join his captain's fleet.
An old salt merrily drinks a tall mug of ale.
A short, grizzled man stumbles around with a mug in one hand.
