Salty sea mist clings crystallized to the lithe grass growing on top and
between the rolling sand dunes.  The frosty air turns breath visible with
every exhale and causes hair follicles to pucker.  The sound of a bell buoy
rings off shore as it is knocked to and fro by the endless cresting ocean. 
As the heavy fog thins in spots other features phase in and out of view; a
ship on the southern horizon, a dark mountain to the north and a small band
of sailors hopelessly lost.
