The quarterdeck of the ship sets halfway below the upper aftcastle and
the main deck.  It is used to access the luxury cabins reserved for the
gentry that may travel upon this vessel.  In the center a wide stair slopes
slowly up to the navigational deck while the port and starboard sides curve
about to meet finely crafted oak doors that bar entrance to the royal
suites.  The elegant stairway continues down to the main deck interrupted by
a small ledge that overhangs the entrance to more cabins below.
