A sturdy rail runs the length of the hall broken only by small pauses to
circumvent doors.  This hallway is curious in that it is far too stubby to
be a true hallway.  It is more like a long intersection.  A hazy glow drifts
down the stairwell to the starboard.  A door with a disturbingly strong lock
in the open position opens to within the bow.  The hallway's east and south
lead to the cargo shaft and quarters.  
A refugee of some horrible nautical disaster stands here trembling with fear.
