The ship's narrow kitchen has been shaken loose of all its cookware as
empty cupboards, doors ajar, mimic an ever-present emptiness.  Glints of
tarnished pots and rusted cutlery gleam from beneath hundreds of years of
dust and a flaky brown trail connect the west entrance with the only
standing piece of furniture, a massive chopping block.  Slumped against the
base of the cutting board are the dismembered remains of the ship's cook.
