Vicious winds and wave batter the old whaling ship forcing it to keel
dangerously.  The storm that rocks this boat also blocks any hint of
celestial light.  What ill fate has cursed this ship to be lost in so
violent a tempest surely damned its crew as well.  No sign of sailor or
seabird or vagabond vermin can be seen- this ship is utterly vacant.  The
only struggle for life can be heard is from the very wood itself as it
squeals with rage against the storm that has tried to sink it for a hundred
years.  
Swirling ominously overhead are large storm clouds, lit by occasional flashes of lightning.
