The royal library contains a vast number of books never before seen by
the surface world.  Its simple shelves contain thousands of books all of
which are oriented towards the sea.  As much information as is alien to the
surface world the library is equally devoid of knowledge on anything having
to do with places above the water's edge.  All of the books seem to be
specially written to avoid damage by water and its components.  It is
interesting to note the lack of ladders in this room as it seems to be a
simple matter to just swim up to the shelf you which to peruse.
