This valley is in fact a quarry, filled with several giants wielding
primitive mining tools.  While it might at first seem odd that they do not
use better tools, after observing a few strokes from a pick nearly
obliterate an entire section of the quarry wall, the efficiency of this
operation is no longer a question.  The ever steeper Peekos mountains rise
to the east, impassable, even to the giants.  The quarry stretches out to
the west and south.  A well used dirt road leads north, packed hard by the
feet of many slaves.
