This quarry is filled with several giants wielding primitive mining
tools.  While it might at first seem odd that they do not use better tools,
after observing a few strokes from a pick nearly obliterate an entire
section of the quarry wall, the efficiency of this operation is no longer a
question.  A cliff blocks passage to the west, to lands not yet carved down
by the miners.  The quarry continues to the east and south.
