Creaking floorboards are the most interesting thing in this hallway, for
there ia little in the way of decoration or color here.  Wooden walls are
highlighted further by wooden floorboards.  Even the wooden ceiling manages
to be dull.  Several glowing orbs provide light to the windowless passage. 
In the underground, windows serve little purpose in a fort.  The post office
is to the east and the magistrate's office is to the north.  The rest of the
fort is to the south.  
     A shimmering white fish scale has been left here.
