Creaking floorboards are the most interesting thing in this hallway, for
there ia little in the way of decoration or color here.  Wooden walls are
highlighted further by wooden floorboards.  Even the wooden ceiling manages
to be dull.  Several glowing orbs provide light to the windowless passage. 
In the underground, windows serve little purpose in a fort.  The main
entrance is to the west and a barracks is to the east.
