The mixed aroma of oatmeal and grits saturates the hot air of this
kitchen.  A wood burning stove rests in the back left corner.  Filling up
the wall between the stove and the opposite corner is a long kitchen cabinet
with a solid wood countertop.  Butcher blocks, knives, pots, and pans are
scattered upon the kitchen counter.  On either side of the room is shelving
stocked to the brim with provisions.  
Slaving over a hot stove to feed the recruits, an overworked cook prepares a meal.
