Legend has it a group of mutineers were overthrown and escaped, making
their way to shore and hiding in this alley.  Eventually they were cornered
by the authorities but refused to be taken alive.  The locals say their
ghosts haunt these shadows now but you don't put stock such tales. 
Whistling a jaunty tune, hoping it passes for nonchalance, you ignore the
movement in the shadows and continue on your way.
