Facing the entry to the room is a large marble fireplace providing the
perfect backdrop for the portrait of Avros's first lady hanging above it. 
Several intimate seating clusters are sprinkled throughout the room,
punctuated with tables holding decorative lamps and other objects.  The hall
to the north leads to the dining room and east to the formal reception hall.
