Even though technically part of the south wing of the mansion this space
retains the regal formality of the non-private sections of the home.  The
same carpet cushions your feet and equally impressive tapestries and
paintings line the walls.  West is the foyer and receiving room, this hall
leading north to the Governor's bedroom.
