You are in a magical room.  The aroma of brewing potions fills the room. 
You see smoke of all different colors rising from the bottles of the
different potions.  Different reagents made to make potions lie on the desk,
some of which came from a previously living thing.  There is a large statue
of a gargoyle in the corner raising his hands in warning.  The exit to the
street is back north, where the people roar furiously down the street.
