You are in Valanis's Map Shop.  This small shop holds thousands of maps
of places from around the world.  Unfortunately, most are only used for
reference, but they do sell some.  The large maps are both political and
topographical in design.  The hard wooden floor bears a rug with a map
designed into its fabric.  At the desk you can see many different maps
rolled up awaiting their sale.  
  You can see the faint red outline of something moving around the area.
