NPC: An obsidian gargoyle
Long Desc: An obsidian gargoyle is here guarding the entrance to the arch.

This beautifully crafted gargoyle must have taken many months to chip out
of the stone from which it came.  It is so perfectly life like that you
would expect it to leap out at you at any moment and strike you down.  It is
equipped with a sword in one hand and a shield in the other.  You also
notice something dangling at the end of its stone wings.
It is a gargoyle approximately 7'0" tall.
