This quest is called 'Upper-Hand, No More!',
for Adventurers levels 30 to 50.
Lord Vendredi [Sigil] is the master in charge of this quest.
Recently, pirates and smugglers have began greatly improving their
technology. This, and the speed of their new ships, is proving to be a
great problem for Sigil. Our ships simply cannot keep up with their own,
meaning any chance of capturing them has now gone. This realization has
forced me to accept the fact that I must upgrade our own technology to match
that of our enemies. Pirquen, our shipwright, has been attempting to
persuade me to upgrade long before now, and now that I have agreed, he will
be most pleased to hear the news. As I know how much it means to Pirquen,
he has my permission to be the first man to try out our new technology!
Before reporting back to me, travel to the Alyrian Chronicle to inform them
of our upgrade, as the more pirates that know they are no longer able to
outrun us, means fewer will waste our time by trying! Good Luck! May the
