This quest is called 'Pyromaniac', for Adventurers levels
180 to
241.
Description of Pyromaniac:
Lord Vashir is the master in charge of this quest.
Don't you love a good fire, it is wonderful to sit round a fire and warm
your hands on a cold winter night and dream of summer days. Subsequently I
want you to find out more about this magic substance and I will need you to
defeat some creatures of fire and visit a creature that is born in flames.
I also need you to bring me a scroll containing the spell fireball and a
lantern which is a source of fire, I also need a fire reagent to work this
spell. You will have to travel to Rune, the wilds of Beltane and around
Vospire to find these mighty beasts. You will be greatly rewarded for your
efforts.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive up
to
80 quest points,
8 practice points,
35000 experience points, and
15000 gold pieces.
You have
450 minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Pyromaniac consists of:
Phase 1: Defeat
A lava golem.
Lava area right near Mount Vesuvius (Just NW of Vospire) —

a brass lantern.
Lanterns sold in shops won't trigger this phase.
I ran out of time waiting for an adventurer in Focault's to drop one, to see if it worked. —

Confirmed that only the lanterns from the adventurers in Focault works. Duende said he will "disambiguate" which lantern is required, but with his usual vague wording who knows what that really means. —
