This quest is called 'Ghost Hunt', for Adventurers levels 100 to 200.
Description of Ghost Hunt:
Gather 'round any campfire and you will undoubtedly hear a tale of Alyrian
ghosts haunting the homes of our citizens. Recently, I sent a team of
researchers to the Sigilian Underground in an effort to determine if these
horror stories are indeed rooted in the truth. The team was equipped with
the latest in paranormal detention systems and recording devices to document
any of their findings. But I fear that something may have happened to them!
I have not received any correspondence from the team in over two weeks. If
something has happened to them I may have trouble forgiving myself! Oh, the
horrors! Make haste, and follow the trail of their ghost hunt. Be sure to
check other commonly haunted areas in case their trail has led them astray.
Bring back any information you can find about the team!
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive up
to 170 quest points, 9 practice points, 50000 experience points, and 35000 gold pieces.
You have 600 minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Ghost Hunt consists of:
Phase 1: Journey to A Heavily Trodden Path.
Entrance to Ghost Towne, where the SAFE room is. — Udolf
Phase 2: Journey to A Trash-Filled Coat Room.
Be careful. This building has two incarnations. Go to (583,1403), open the north door and look north. If you see "A Trash-Filled Coat Room", all good. It's the haunted incarnation. Go in, kill the lurker, be happy. If you see "Coat Room of the Cave Mist Tavern", STOP! Don't go in. If you do, it's welcome to the hotel California. You can buy drinks and party with live NPCs, but the only way out is a DT. If the building is in this mode, apparently you need a friend or some other poor sucker to go in and die so it will convert to ghost mode and you can do the quest. — Viskon
