From this part of the camp square you can see the huge barracks looming
to the east, and the smaller building of the saw shop crouching under a
blanket of snow nearby.  In the near distance to the north the shouts and
catcalls of a rowdy crowd can be heard, while the rest of the square opens
up to the southern directions.
