The center of the camp is an open area of packed dirt and gravel, though
it is often covered with drifts of snow and ice.  To the northeast presides
a large building looming over the company store and office to the east and
to the northwest is a much smaller structure with a sign set over the door. 
Looking to the west, you see the pitched roof of the stable and smoke from
the blacksmith's forge.  Shouts and laughter mark the tavern to the south,
and the smell of food means the camp kitchen must be to the southeast.
