A Large Pool - - NE (-------------------------------------------------) - <---(M)---> - SW - - The stairs have reached a large ice pool that you would however they do not cross, except that the stairs continue on the other side of it. As you cross the room, several snake like figures rise from the pool and seemingly dance around you. They do not attack, rather study you intensly, perhaps considering you for a victim. The stairs back down to the southwest lead to the entrance foyer. A chunk of ice that might have come from a glacier is floating here.
