A perpetual cloak of night lay over this area without the tiniest of
pinpricks to allow light to enter.  No creatures fly through or scurry about
or walk to greet or threaten but tracks of all types mare the quiet beach
line.  A spire of sea rock stands in the center of this area imprisoned by
the wall of slowly rotating fog.  Only the embrace of cold damp air and the
meandering of thought let anyone know they are still alive.
