A path of footprints entering from the surrounding wall of fog is the
only sign that life once passed through this place.  Sea birds squeal in the
distance echoing the wail of dying fish.  The salt laden air drifts in
slowly to chill the flesh of those standing still and darkness deep as a
black-hearted curse hides its prickling advance.  A twisted collage of coral
torn from its undersea home stands dry, and dead to the northwest.
