Passing through the heart of this little protected sanctuary, Fort Avenue
leads right to the doors of the fort proper.  To the east, a large tent
rises and sounds of many voices can be heard.  Through an opening in the
tent, many merchants selling thier wares can be made out in the torchlight. 
To the west, the clang of metal work comes from a seperate tent.  The avenue
continues to the north and south.
