Description:

This spell creates an aura of lightning around the caster. If the caster is then struck by a weapon, the lightning discharges down the weapon, causing a significant amount of electrical damage to the attacker. There are some limitations to what weapons will discharge the shroud, but it appears to be weapons the make direct contact (i.e., not wand or archery) and are made of some sort of metal. This spell shows up on the player's long description as a blue *.
