This quest [927] is called 'Combat Mage',
for Adventurers levels 120 to 180.
Lord Vashir [The Towne of New Rigel] is the master in charge of this quest.
Lord Vashir's advisors quickly scatter as you stride mightily into the
throne room. After removing your gauntlets, you clasp the powerful hand of
New Rigel's ruler. "City defense is always a top priority. Just yesterday
I received a message that barbarian Kells had attacked Lowangen." You nod
as many a foul Kell has fallen to your blade. "I am going to establish an
army of combat mages which will rival those in Diocletian or any other town.
This will enable us to ensure that the invader Kells are no longer a threat
to us or any under our protection. My advisors have provided me with this
list." He hands you a crumpled sheet of paper which lists the preparations
needed for this project's success.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:
*Up to 60 quest points, 5 practice points, 32,000 experience points,
 0 build points, 0 piety, and 6,000 gold pieces.
You have 300 minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Combat Mage consists of:
Phase 1: Recover a staff of a Gath shaman.
Phase 2: Recover a scroll of 'poison'.
Phase 3: Recover an octarine wand.
Phase 4: Journey to Airy-Magick.
Phase 5: Journey to Enchanted Tiki Room of Magic and Mystery.
Phase 6: Defeat An elite palace wizard.
Phase 7: Defeat An elite warrior mage.
Phase 8: Visit Archibold the Great Scholar.
