This quest [998] is called 'Quenching the Hellfire',

Lord Agrippa [Runic Castle] is the master in charge of this quest.
My royal advisors have devised yet another plan to stop the infernal
demons of Avarice. This time we will try to quench the very fire which
feeds them and makes them so strong.. There are three approaches that you
should consider while assisting with this plan.. First, fight fire with
water. Second, fight fire with fire. Third, use the power of love to over
come that of evil. I have authorized attempts at all these methods, and
here is your role in this great undertaking. Your assistance will be well
rewarded upon your return.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:

Phase 2: Recover a scroll of 'bless'.
Phase 3: Recover a scroll of 'fountain'.
Phase 4: Recover a scroll of 'protection from evil'.
Phase 5: Rescue The royal court mage.
Phase 6: Destroy the Great Flamberge.
Phase 7: Defeat A fanged hellhound.
Phase 8: Destroy a suit of fire.
Phase 9: Journey to The Chapel of Love.
Phase 10: Recover a crystal heart pendant.
