Quest: Rat Extermination
This quest [2428] is called 'Rat Extermination',
for Adventurers levels 110 to 180.
Lord Agrippa [Runic Castle] is the master in charge of this quest.
Over the last few months a mysterious disease has been creeping across
Alyria. As yet the exact source of this foul plague is unknown, but it has
been confirmed that rats are indeed the carriers of this disease. It seems
that infected rats are stowing away on trade and cargo ships and hiding
until the ship arrives at its destination and then making their escape into
the new town and spreading the disease. I would like for you to hunt down
these diseased vermin and exterminate them before they can infect any more
citizens of Alyria. Before you begin exterminating the rat infestations
throughout Alyria, you may want to speak with the mortician in town. It is
possible that he may be able to give you some insight into this disease.
When you have finished exterminating the rats I want to make absolutely sure
that you have not been infected before you return here to me so you will
need to visit Doctor Felstaff, Doctor Netis, and Doctor Rune. They will
make certain that you are not infected with the disease and inadvertently
bring it into my throne room. May the Powers guide and protect you!

Phase 6: Defeat A dump rat. [3 times]
Phase 7: Defeat A hungry gray rat. [3 times]
Phase 8: Defeat A nibbling rat. [3 times]
Phase 9: Defeat A sewer rat. [3 times]
Phase 10: Visit Xebbert Durbann.
