Description:

The snare skill allows the user to set a trap using a kit. Although there are many different types of kits, the most commonly used is the "snare kit", which sets a trap with the "web" effect. These snares are triggered when a player enters the room, and if the player does not save (based on saving-spells, saving-paralysis, luck, and agility) they are webbed. The level of the web effect is that of the person who trips the snare, but the duration is significantly shorter than both the wizard and druid versions of web. A room may only be snared if it is not marked with the no-trap flag, and there is not currently a trap set in it. Only snares set in PK rooms mean anything and only players may be snared. NPCs that enter a trapped room will foul the snare.
