This quest [2885] is called 'Yak Maddness',
for Adventurers levels 25 to 59.
Lord Vendredi [Sigil] is the master in charge of this quest.
Gunther, the stable master of my castle has informed me that he has received
an increasing amount of trouble from Ynefarius, the demonic yak. The beast
has been known to grow extremely violent at this time of year, therefore I
ask you to arrange some precautionary measures. First I Would like you to
visit Ynefarius and inspect his stall yourself. Take note of his current
state of aggression, but be careful that you do not provoke him to attack.
Next I would like you to travel to Grimward's Enchanted Items and obtain a
protective ward. Return this to Gunther, who will affix it to Ynefarius'
stall. The music of Garan the bard has a particularly calming effect, so I
ask you to find Garan and arrange for Him to play for Ynefarius. Ynefarius
must be fed with copious amounts of meat to suppress his hunger for flesh,
so I would have you obtain some. In case these measures fail, I need you to
warn Gnyah the yak slayer and Demonia, one of my captains, to be ready
should the beast break free. If you do these things promptly you will be
suitably rewarded. May the powers protect you!
