The season of planting is upon us. The ground is ready to be seeded with
the crops that we will grow this year. I need someone to research different
planting techniques and types of crops that we could grow this year. Talk
to a couple of the farmers in the farmlands around Rune, and Broshed in
Gilvery. They will instruct you how, what and where to plant. Finally,
experiment growing some of the crops on your own. Make sure to dispose of
anything you grow. Hurry with this task, as the growing season is fast upon
us.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:
*Up to 30 quest points, 5 practice points, 20,000 experience points,
 2 build points, 0 piety, and 3,000 gold pieces.
*The item 'a gardening trowel'.
You have 400 minutes remaining to complete this quest.
Spring Planting consists of:
Phase 1: Visit A peasant farmer.
Phase 2: Recover a wood and iron spade.
Phase 3: Recover an iron rake.
Phase 4: Destroy a rose bush.

This trowel is a small, thin blade attacked to skinny wooden handle. Black
dirt is compacted into the grain of the wood. This tool would be perfect to
plant small plants or seeds, as the dried, black dirt on the top of the
blade shows. Spring is the time when many inhabitants of Alyria get busy
planting not only the years crop, but many flowers and herb plants in their
personal garden. Perhaps you could build a better place if you USED this
trowel.
